Komal Aziz Khan, who played the lead role in the drama serial Ishq-e-Benaam, was nominated for best actress. She is also acclaimed for her roles in other drama serials including Bharosa Pyar Tera, Bisaat-e-Dil, and Raaz-e-Ulfat.

In a previous interview, Komal Aziz Khan said that she belongs to a middle-class family and after completing her education, she joined IBA Karachi. She has an undergraduate degree in business from the United States.
