ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification regarding the hike in prices of petroleum products under which an increase of Rs 9 to 12 per liter will be made.
According to details, a notification was issued to increase the prices of petroleum products by Rs 9 to 12 per liter. Petrol price has gone up by Rs 10.49 per liter, as per the notification.
According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 137.79 per liter. The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 12.44 per liter. According to the notification, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs10.95. The new price has been fixed at Rs 110.26 per liter.
The price of light diesel has been increased by Rs8.84. According to the Finance Ministry, the new price of light diesel has been fixed at Rs 108.35 per liter.

Earlier, the price of Brent crude in the international market reached a three-year high, which was declared the biggest increase since 2018.
Yesterday, the price of Brent crude oil reached 85 85 per barrel, which is the highest price since October 2018. The price of US crude oil WTI also increased by 1 percent.
