ISLAMABAD: Minister of Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that good results have started coming after the end of the political panic and the coalition government is determined to give relief to the people.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the first priority of the government is political and economic stability. “Yes, it will take time to fix the economy, the previous government sunk the economy, we inherited the effects of their incompetence,” he said.
The minister said that the coalition government’s efforts for economic stability are continuing, on one hand, to fix the economy, on the other hand, preparations were being made for armed movements. “The prime minister has given an Rs1.8 billion farmer package, the results of which are coming, the price of flour has decreased by Rs35 to Rs40 per kg.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that there has been a significant reduction in LPG cylinders for commercial and domestic consumers, today the dollar rate has decreased by Rs27, the prices of cooking oil have been reduced by Rs60 to Rs70, and this country is on the verge of default. “We did not allow default, the prime minister has started consultative meetings on the budget, and the sub-committee will ensure the supply of quality seeds,” Aurangzeb said.

She said that the previous government sank the ship of the economy. “We are determined to improve it, we spoke to the IMF to stabilize the economy in a difficult economic situation, the economy is related to political stability, the incompetent, the incompetent have laid mines within the foundations of the economy, attacking it whenever the economy begins to improve,” she added.
Aurangzeb further said that the seeds of hatred were being sown in the minds of the people, and the politics of arson and encirclement were being promoted. “They do not want the economy to improve in this country, armed groups on May 9, the country’s sensitive and military installations were attacked, and the previous government wanted the country to default,” she asserted.
