PCB assigns Misbah-ul-Haq with notable responsibility

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has assigned former captain Misbah-ul-Haq to oversee a 17-day conditioning camp for national cricketers.
According to PCB, Misbah-ul-Haq has been Pakistan’s most successful captain who is aware of handling the difficult demands in the cricket field.
According to sources, Misbah-ul-Haq along with coaching staff at the National Cricket Academy will work to improve the physical fitness of A-list cricketers.
Talking about it, PCB Director Zakir Khan has said that the players in domestic cricket have a good chance to benefit from the experience of Pakistan’s most successful former captain.
Five players from the national team engaged in playing county cricket in England, have assured PCB to join the Cairo Trophy.
14 out of 19 players in the central contract have been summoned to the camp, while Asif Ali, Bilal Asif, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mir Hamza, Rahat Ali and Zafar Gohar are also directed to report to the National Cricket Academy on 19th August.
