The Sindh government has issued a notification to impose the lockdown in Karachi and other parts of Sindh.
According to details, the Sindh government has issued a lockdown notification due to which businesses will be closed from today until August 8. The journalist community and media workers will be allowed to continue their duties with Corona SOPs.
Industries will remain open while there would be a ban on pillion riding. Shops for groceries will remain open and petrol pumps and medical stores will also remain open. Exams from today have been postponed.
According to a notification issued by the government, employees over the age of 55 have been barred from visiting their offices. Government and private offices across Sindh will remain closed. It was made mandatory to get permission for the allotted vehicle to bring the office staff.
Masks must be worn in public places under SOPs to prevent coronavirus. Food delivery riders must show coronavirus vaccination cards. According to the amended notification, the final form of the Cambridge school system will be as usual on August 2.

According to the amended notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, inter-provincial transport will be restored during the lockdown while inter-city transport will remain closed. Companies’ delivery boys will not be required to show a vaccination card.
It may be recalled that earlier the Board of Secondary Education had postponed the annual practical examinations of matriculation in Karachi till August 8, while a notification was also issued to close the universities.
A statement issued by the Board of Secondary Education yesterday said that the lockdown will be enforced in Karachi from July 31 i.e. today to August 8 as per the instructions of the Sindh government to curb the spread of coronavirus.
