After Ibrahim Ali Khan, another star kid is making waves—Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s daughter, Aashi Tripathi. She made her debut in the music video “Rang Daaro,” sung by Mainak Bhattacharya and Sanjana Ramnarayan, as reported by Indian media on Tuesday.
According to Indian media, with music composed by Abhinav R Kaushik. Aashi Tripathi appears in the video dressed in a traditional South Indian white saree with a gold border, with most of the video focusing on close-up shots of her confidently showcasing her beauty and sharp looks.
Released by Jar Pictures, the video portrays Aashi in a muse-like role as she’s gently painted with vibrant colors, enhancing the artistic depth of the song. Aashi, who is currently studying in Mumbai, aspires to become an actor in near future, like her father Pankaj Tripathi.
When composer Abhinav R Kaushik approached Pankaj Tripathi’s wife, Mridula Tripathi, with the idea of featuring Aashi, she consulted Pankaj, who fully supported the decision. Reflecting on his daughter’s debut, Pankaj shared, “Seeing Aashi on screen was a deeply emotional and proud moment for us both.”
“She’s always had a passion for the arts, and watching her naturally express herself in her very first project was truly special. If this is just her first step, I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her.” Actor Pankaj stated.
Mridula added, “When the opportunity came, I wanted to ensure Aashi pursued something that matched her artistic vision. ‘Rang Daaro’ is a beautiful and soulful project, and watching her bring the emotions to life on screen was heartwarming. We’re excited to see her grow and carve her own path in this industry.”
