It has been reported that Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has been replaced by Pankaj Tripathi in the much-anticipated sequel of ‘Oh My God’.
The movie was supposed to go on floors this summer but its schedule got impacted due to the second wave of COVID-19. While the first installment featured legend Paresh Rawal alongside Akshay Kumar in the lead role, the latest reports suggest that Pankaj Tripathi will play lead the protagonist along with Kumar. However, the reason behind Paresh’s exit from the sequel is not known.

It will mark the second collaboration between Pankaj and Akshay Kumar after Bachchan Pandey, which is directed by Farhad Samji and funded by Sajid Nadiadwala.
It is reported that the makers are in talks with Pankaj Tripathi for a long time now and it seems that the actor has finally given his nod to the movie. Akshay Kumar will play his role from the first part. It is also reported that now the makers of the film plan to take it to the floors in September, and wrap it up by October this year. Written and directed by Umesh Shukla, the satirical comedy-drama is inspired by the Australian film ‘The Man Who Sued God’.
