DAVOS: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan would only partner peace and not war.
While addressing at Pakistan Strategy Dialogue in Davos, the prime minister said that Pakistan would not become part of any conflict or war in the future as we have suffered in the war against terrorism.
Imran Khan said, “Due to the war in Afghanistan, Pakistan inherited Kalashnikov and drug culture.”
He highlighted the positive side of Pakistan, We believe Pakistan can collect a lot of revenue through tourism, he explained. When we assumed power, the biggest problem was the current account deficit, said Imran Khan.
He also spoke of the re-industrialization of the country and a shift towards a profit-making mindset. We are actively incentivising industries.
Imran Khan added, “We have tried to remove hurdles in the way of investors but we have a long way to go.”
According to the prime minister, foreign investment jumped 200 percent in a single year that profitability also went up.
