KARACHI: At least 24 more people have died of the coronavirus in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus across the country to 22,642.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), another 1,980 cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours.
According to the NCOC, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 978,847. According to the NCOC, the overall rate of positive cases across the country during the last 24 hours was 4.17%.
According to figures released by the NCOC, 47,472 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. The number of coronavirus cases in Sindh is 348,509, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 139,553, in Punjab 348,509, in Islamabad 83,831, and in Balochistan 28 321 thousand, 21 thousand 2 hundred 56 in Azad Kashmir and 6 thousand 9 hundred 72 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the NCOC, so far 4,094,703 people across the country have been given a full dose of the coronavirus vaccine while 1,64,45,560 people have been given a single dose. The NCOC stated that 25 million people have been vaccinated against the virus so far.
