ISLAMABAD: As many as 613 more people tested positive for the novel COVID-19 during the last 24 hours across the country, taking the number of confirmed cases to 289,831.
According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 11 deaths from coronavirus have been recorded in past 24 hours, taking the number the total death toll is 6,190.
The number of corona active cases in the country is steadily declining to 12,116 now. The number of coronavirus cases in Sindh is 126,425. In Punjab 95,742, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 35,401, Balochistan 12,370, Islamabad 15,412, Azad Kashmir 2212 and Gilgit-Baltistan 2565 people were diagnosed with coronavirus.
The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,185 in Punjab, 2,331 in Sindh, 1,239 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 175 in Islamabad, 138 in Balochistan, 61 in Azad Kashmir and 61 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
