ISLAMABAD: The federal government has rolled out a new initiative under the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) program, offering citizens subsidized Crown electric motorcycles on easy installments.

Under the scheme, buyers will receive a subsidy of PKR 50,000 per unit, along with zero-markup installment plans and no processing fees.

The program is open to all Pakistani citizens aged 18 to 65, with priority given to women, persons with disabilities, and overseas Pakistanis.

Applications can only be submitted through the official portal (www.pave.gov.pk
). Applicants will be entered into a computerized lottery system to ensure transparency in the selection process.

The scheme is being implemented in partnership with Crown Electric Mobility, one of Pakistan’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers.

Officials said the initiative aims to promote electric mobility, reduce dependence on fuel-based transport, and make eco-friendly motorcycles more affordable for citizens.
