RAWALPINDI: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has said that with the postponement of IMF talks, the emergency meeting of the cabinet and the joint session of Parliament have also been postponed.

His remarks came after Speaker National Assembly on Wednesday put off the joint sitting of the Parliament, which was scheduled to take place on Thursday. This was for the fifth time that the speaker had delayed the joint sitting, which had been convened by President Dr Arif Alvi on May 26, without assigning any reason.

Taking to Twitter, Sheikh Rashid said “no one knows what is going to happen,” adding that the country was facing the onslaught of speculations and rumors.
He said Imran Khan’s arrival at the Rawalpindi point of Long March could be delayed by 2 to 3 days, and that all decision making would be completed by November 30.
