Pakistan has announced two changes to their Test squad for the ongoing series against the West Indies and upcoming series against England.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Abdullah Shafique has been included in the national Test squad as a replacement for Abdullah Fazal, who has been ruled out of the West Indies Test series due to injury.
In addition to Abdullah Shafique, left-handed batter Saud Shakeel has also been added to the squad as an extra replacement.
Following the two-match Test series against the West Indies, Pakistan will tour England, where they are scheduled to play a three-match Test series.
It should be noted that the West Indies are leading with 194/3 at stumps on Day 1 of the ongoing 1st Test match against Pakistan at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, Trinidad.
The two teams are facing off in a two-match Test series under the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
