LAHORE: At least one person has been killed and six others injured in a traffic accident in Punjab capital due to heavy fog and loss of sight.
According to details, a collision took place between one bus and four vehicles. The deceased and injured persons have been shifted to hospital for medical treatment. Heavy fog has covered Punjab and Motorways M3 from Lahore to Abdul Hakim and M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Gojra have been closed.
As per the motorway police, fog is on the rise in various cities including Renala Khurd, Pattoki, Sahiwal, Okara, and Chichawatni. The motorway has been closed due to fog in several places.

The motorway police have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel. Fog is also prevailing in the plains of Sindh. It may be recalled that earlier in Karachi, one person was injured in a collision between eight vehicles and one motorcycle.
