ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has reiterated that a special meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should be held on Kashmir dispute.
Addressing a press conference along with the OIC Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir Yousef M. Al Dobeay in Islamabad today (Tuesday), FM Qureshi said that the people of Pakistan have expectations with the organizations.
The foreign minister said that many resolutions of the Islamic organisation regarding Kashmir are present.
“Pakistan has briefed OIC Secretary-General s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir Yousef M Al Dobeay on the current situation in the Indian annexed Kashmir,” FM Qureshi added.
Highlighting the Delhi violence, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Muslims were massacred in New Delhi, adding that the imposition of citizenship law in India is hampering the lives of minorities, especially Muslims.
