ISLAMABAD: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir Yousef M Al Dobeay arrived in Pakistan on a five-day visit.
Secretary General’s Special Envoy Yousef M Al Dobeay along with a six-member delegation will also pay a visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, during his stay, the OIC officials will be briefed on the worsening human rights situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Special Envoy’s visit is of particular significance in the background of India’s independent and illegal atrocities of 5 August 2019.
The visit also the tough note on the Jammu and Kashmir issue contained in the Resolutions and Communiqués of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and Summit meetings.
The OIC has extended its resolute support to the innocent Kashmiri people in their just great effort for the inalienable right to self-determination.
