DIR LOWER: A team of district administration carried out raids on different areas of Lower Dir and inspected prices of commodities.
According to Deputy Commissioner Saadat Hassan, the raids were conducted under the directives high-ups besides officials were also removed illegal billboards from government buildings.
Authorities said the first raid was conducted in Samar Bagh tehsil wherein where Assistant Commissioner along police checked godowns and setup of wholesalers.
It was said that wholesalers and retailers were providing food items to the consumers regularly by following government approved price list.
Meanwhile, Tehsil Municipal officials also conducted an operation against illegal billboards and removed scores of flexes from government buildings.
