KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected the plea of an accused against life imprisonment in a murder case.
Sindh High Court bench heard a plea filed by an accused Karam Shah against life term, awarded to him by a sessions court for killing his uncle over the refusal of love marriage.
The judges rejected accused’s plea and stated that crime was proved against the accused in the light of shreds of evidence and witnesses. The bunch said would be injustice with the victim for releasing such accused persons without completing punishment’ the court added.
According to the prosecutor, accused Karam Shah and a girl Rafat had killed their uncle Abdul Sattar who refused their love marriage in 2002.
A local court had sentenced life term to accused after the crime was proved against him while co-accused is still declared a proclaimed offender.
