Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has called out filmmakers for casting only a limited number of actors in the lead roles.
Fatehi, during her interview, said that her dance skills have not been the obstacle preventing her from landing lead roles.
The Dilbar girl said that many legendary actresses in Bollywood have always been exceptional dancers, and their dance prowess has been an inherent part of being an iconic star.
“The paramount factor in casting appears to be the ability to excel in multiple aspects including acting skills, star presence, aura, communication skills and much more,” she added.
As per the media reports, Fatehi expressed her observations about the industry’s high competitiveness and the limited number of movies produced each year.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Fatehi told the media about her upcoming Telugu film titled Matka alongside Varun Tej in the lead role. Set in 1960s, the ambitious project is expected to be the most expensive venture of Tej’s career.
