ISLAMABAD: Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has said that the National Highway Authority (NHA) has a great capacity to provide services opportunities to the internees and fresh graduates of the country.
While addressing a ceremony in Islamabad the minister said firms and consultants that are working with National Highway Authority have been instructed to give jobs to the students that are doing an internship at NHA to save their future.
Murad Saeed said NHA will be made self-sustainable to build roads and other projects on its own. Citing about the Postal Services, he said Franchise Post Office Network will be set up across Pakistan that will give 2.5 lac jobs to the youth of the country, the minister added.
Murad Saeed said that the network of Pakistan Post has been linked with several kiosks of the National Database & Registration Authority for the biometric verification to facilitate the public.
He said over 124,000 franchise post offices would be established in the span of the next two years for providing employment opportunities to the general public.
