Netflix’s new Korean movie titled ’20th Century Girl’ is not just a high school romance film; it’s a combination of multiple genres.

Plot
The movie follows the story of a beautiful friendship between teenage girls. The female protagonist Bo-ra is asked by her friend to keep an eye on her newly developed crush once she goes to the US for her heart surgery.
Bo-ra starts stalking her crush who is always with his male friend, while stalking and getting to know him better she keeps on interacting with his friend, and later she develops feeling for him.

Now upon her friend’s arrival, unaware Bo-ra comes to know that her friend’s crush was the same guy Bo-ra fell for. Lovely twists isnt it? It seems like a romcom movie but leads you to a heartbreaking love story after an hour to the movie.
