Heeramandi
The Hindi-language drama is set in the backdrop of pre-independence India and centered around a powerful group of courtesans. Heeramandi will explore stories of courtesans and the hidden cultural reality of Heeramandi (brothels/kothas) a place during pre-independent India which is now located in Lahore, Pakistan.
Plot
The series enchants viewers to the sizzling district of Heeramandi, where the one and only Mallikajaan rules over an elite house of courtesans. She schemes, fearing no one — until the return of her late nemesis’ daughter, Fareedan, brings tensions in the house to a boil.
