There have been rumours that the second season of ‘Wednesday, The Addams Family spin-off will not stream on Netflix but Amazon Prime, look’s like the news is not accurate.
As we all know ‘Wednesday’ is Netflix’s third most-watched series ever based on time viewed within its first month. So it would be quite shocking if the series left the streamer for another platform for its second season.
It all started earlier this week online that Netflix hadn’t announced a second season for ‘Wednesday’ yet because MGM, which produced the series, is now owned by Amazon — meaning the show could move to an Amazon platform like Prime Video.

However, two people familiar with the matter revealed that there is no truth to the report. One of the people said deals with MGM for ‘Wednesday’ were made long before Amazon bought MGM in May for $8.5 billion.
The series follows the titular teenage daughter as she settles into a new school for outcasts and is soon tasked with harnessing her emerging psychic ability, solving a decades-long supernatural mystery, and halting a local killing spree, all whilst making new friends. Wednesday is currently streaming on Netflix.
