A Lahore court has canceled the non-bailable arrest warrants against popular Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir after her volunteer attendance at the hearing.
As per the information the Cant Kutchery Court has granted the bail on the submission of Rs 50,00 bond.
Nazish appeared before the court along with her lawyer Barrister Haris. The hearing of the case was conducted by Magistrate Ghulam Shabbir Sial.
The subsequent hearing following the case is set for April 28.
In case the readers are not aware, the arrest warrants against the actress were issued after fellow actor Aswad Haroon filed a case of fraud and issuing threats against her.
He accused the actress of failing to return Rs 2.5 million and a lavish vehicle.
Haroon stated that Nazish once called a meeting with him to hand back the cash and the car but instead of appearing herself, she sent a man named Sikhandar Khan there who threatened him with weapons.
