LONDON: President Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif has said that his brother Nawaz Sharif would be examined today.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif’s scheduled appointment for a medical checkup was scheduled earlier but it was postponed due to the London Bridge attack.
Shehbaz said that his brother’s platelet count and bone marrow tests were expected to be received today.
Last week, the personal physician of Nawaz Sharif, Dr. Adnan Khan said that the Nawaz had undergone a range of tests, including PET and CT scan, at the London Bridge Hospital.
Former PM #NawazSharif is undergoing a PET/CT FDG Scan at London Bridge Hospital under care of Haematology/Haemoncology at Guy’s Cancer Centre, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College London.
It’s one of the key investigations to establish cause of severe Thrombocytopenia.
