LAHORE: Fresh medical reports of former premier Nawaz Sharif on Friday suggested that his health has improved as his blood platelets count has been increasing.
According to the sources of the medical board, taking care of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo said that blood platelets of Nawaz Sharif has reached to 55,000.
Former PM was brought to Services hospital, Lahore where he has been admitted for 11 days now, added sources.
The head of the medical board, Prof. Mehmood Ayaz previously said that blood platelets will elevate slowly. Now, the platelets have been increasing around five to six thousands on a daily basis.
On this occasion, Prof. Mehmood Ayaz further added that the Sharif’s health needs constant monitoring.
Earlier, the medical board, taking care of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said that his health was deteriorating and next 48 hours were critical for former Prime Minister.
Dr. Mehmood Ayyaz spoke to media and revealed that the injections that were given to Nawaz Sharif to increase platelets had created further problems for his overall health.
The administered injections and steroids impacted former premier’s kidneys. The doctors had recommended running kidney tests. The results of those tests were troubling.
