A case has been registered at Ramna Police Station by the law enforcement agency on the Nadra officer’s brother’s request who himself is working at the Prime Minister Office in Islamabad.
“My brother left the house at 9pm last night but did not return since then. My brother made a call but he appeared frightened by the voice. He told me that someone had made him sit and the phone was hung up,” he mentioned in the first information report.
As per the FIR, the complainant suspected that his brother was abducted.
Earlier in November, last year, a business tycoon of Balochistan and a political leader of Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Haji Naseebullah Khan Achakzai was reportedly abducted by unidentified men.
Sources said a group of armed men intercepted Mr Achakzai at gunpoint in the Baleli area on the outskirts of the provincial capital while he was on his way from Chaman to Quetta.
