RAWALPINDI: The Motorway police have recovered drugs from an abandoned vehicle near Rawalpindi on Saturday.
According to reports, the perpetrators attempted to smuggle 37 kilograms of charas in a truck, which they later parked on the side of the motorway, avoiding police inspection. The motorway police later took the vehicle into their custody and began a search for the offenders.

Earlier on January 24, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) intelligence wing halted a drug smuggling bid and recovered millions of rupees worth of heroin from Gujar Khan which was hidden in the cargo boxes.
According to the sources, the ANF detained five people involved in the case, while a case was not registered against the criminals.
