A session court in Lahore recently granted pre-arrest bail to a suspect, involved in a harassment case at Minar-e-Pakistan on the independence day.
A suspect named Shehroz Saeed, who was allegedly involved in the harassment case registered by Ayesha Akram, a Lahore TikToker. The bail is until next month on 3rd September.

According to Saeed’s lawyer, the suspect is ready to cooperate with the authorities. “Hence, the court should direct police authorities to refrain from arresting him,” his lawyer maintained.
Recently, Lahore police arrested 66 people through geo-fencing, face matching, and conducted raids at 26 different places so far in Lahore in the harassment incident case.
The police officer said that victim Ayesha Akram, who was harassed, along with her colleagues will identify the suspects during the parade and the remaining suspects.
Ayesha Akram was attacked by a mob of men on 14th August at Minar-e-Pakistan, when she was trying to record a video with four of her friends.
According to Dunya News, the victim’s medico-legal assessment stated that Ayesha was subjected to physical assault. The report revealed that there were several scratches on Ayesha’s body and bruises on her neck and hand were also present.
As per the reports, Ayesha’s right hand and neck were badly swollen. Her waist and feet are filled with scratches. The right side of the victim’s chest had several scratches. The report claimed a count of a total of 13 marks on her body, in short, Ayesha was brutally attacked on 14th August by the mob of 400 men.
