The newly released drama serial ‘Mera Sardar’ is based on a true incident that unveils the dark side of Pakistani society.
Produced by Komal Entertainment and directed by Ehsaan Shaikh, the drama has been written by Pirah Janwari. The drama serial exposes a tale of a powerful feudal Sardar family’s heinous crime of taking the life of an innocent after the incident. However, the brave sister of the victim’s family battles a corrupt system for justice where the culprit roams freely.

The story revolves surrounds Rehan, played by Afraaz Rasool, who is the heir of a powerful feudal Sardar who is determined to break free from the customs of brutality and the subjugation of the less powerful associated with his family’s legacy.
As a dedicated and serious director at a major news organization, he strives to create positive change. When Sidra, played by Injeela Seher, a young journalist, joins his team and initially makes mistakes, an unexpected bond forms between them.
However, their intertwined pasts resurface, bringing forth challenges deeply rooted in traditional norms. Mera Sardar airs on Mun TV from Monday to Thursday at 08:30 pm.
