The annual matriculation examinations across Sindh, including Karachi, will commence on March 31, while the intermediate exams will begin on April 15, following approval by the Provincial Education Department’s Steering Committee.
The decision was taken during a meeting held Thursday afternoon under the chairmanship of Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah.
According to the approved schedule, the Class 9 and 10 examinations will start after Eid on March 31. After a gap of 15 days, the intermediate annual examinations will be conducted from April 15.
The committee also approved the start of the new academic session 2026–27 from April 1.
Officials further announced that matriculation results will be released on June 1, while intermediate results are expected by June 15.
