Host and model Mathira, who is famously known for her bold pictures and fiery statements, has defended Ali Zafar and asked people to stop calling him a harasser.
The host while sharing news of Dawn’s images posted that she does not understand why are people calling Ali Zafar names. “Seriously they acting like they were eyes witnesses,” she wrote.
“I don’t believe in this so-called feminism labelling a guy cause you have a problem with him the most important thing I believe is a human right that should matter whether you are a man or woman your rights are there,” she asserted.
She ranted that people should stop blaming Ali Zafar the allegations they putting on him are harsh. “He is innocent so please stop acting like ‘nibbis’ for attention,” she concluded the post.
Like many others, footballer Hajra Khan was not on board with the idea of having Ali Zafar hosting the Hum Style Awards show as he is already in a legal battle over his alleged sexual harassment of Meesha Shafi. While speaking in an interview, Hajra said that she felt ‘terrified’ because there were too many people there.
She wasn’t the only one who didn’t approve of the host — Meesha Shafi took to Twitter to slam the awards and management for enabling alleged harassers and giving them space and fans were furious on Twitter too.
