The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested the main suspect involved in creating fake degrees.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspect, Muhammad Amin Baig, was involved in creating fake degrees and issuing them under the name of the International University of Sri Lanka.
The FIA spokesperson stated that the accused Amin Baig has been arrested in Islamabad from the area of I-10 on charges of creating and issuing fake degrees.
The spokesperson revealed that the former Chief Executive Officer of the Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) had also obtained a fake degree.
It is noteworthy that Sheikh Akhtar Hussain obtained a degree from the same fake degree mill to secure a position in the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Following the revelation of the fake degree, the FIA arrested him in the past few days.
