KARACHI: The district police today (Sunday) have claimed to arrest a man, allegedly involved in criminal activities and recovered valuables and narcotics, according to a police spokesperson.
According to details, the Gulshan-e-Maymar police station, on receiving a tip-off conducted an operation near Northern Bypass during which the suspect was arrested.
The suspect has been identified as Shahzeb and a case has been registered under several provisions of the criminal act. Further investigation is underway, the spokesman added. The police team has recovered valuables, including stolen cash and motorcycle and narcotics from his possession.
Earlier on November 27, Liaquatabad Super Market Police conducted three different raids and arrested four suspects involved in criminal activities.
Police arrested suspect Saleem Qureshi s/o Nizamuddin involved in stealing motorcycles and a drug peddler Babar Ali. In a separate raid, police arrested two street criminals involved in robbing citizens.
