KARACHI: A suspected man was arrested after he allegedly tried to molest a four-year-old girl in the North Nazimabad area of the metropolis.
According to police, the suspect, Sajid had lured the girl with sweets and took her to his house where he tried to molest the girl.
However, the girl managed to escape from the house and went back home where she told her parents about the incident, police added. Soon after the incident, Hyderi police apprehended the suspect and have registered an FIR on behave of the victim’s parents.
Police sources further disclosed that the accused was intoxicated when he was trying to molest the girl. Police started Further investigations into the matter.
On the other hand, the girl’s father said that an FIR was not sufficient and he demanded public hanging of the culprit.
Local people of the area also said severe punishment should be given to the suspect, adding that the only way to stop such incidents to be public hanging.
