zAmid the news of the arrival of a baby girl in Khan’s house, actress and Arbaaz’s ex-wife, Malaika Arora, took to her Instagram to share a story that talked about ‘true love’, on the same day.
Arbaaz Khan and his wife, Sshura Khan, have been blessed with a baby girl on October 5, 2025. And on the same day, his ex-wife, Malaika posted a cryptic message on her instagram handle.

The post featured a clip from an upcoming show. In the video, Navjot Singh Sidhu, in his patent style, can be heard sharing some wise words on love. The clip showcased him saying, “Main tumhe guarantee deta hoon, ki sachche pyaar mein, saudebaazi nahi hoti (I will guarantee you that true love isn’t a bargain).”
To which Malaika said, “Paaji, mujhe likhna hai… Sachche pyar me kya nahi hota? (Paaji, I want to write, What doesn’t happen in true love?)” Navjot Singh Sidhu reiterated his words.
In an earlier interview given to Pinkvilla, Malaika spoke openly about her divorce from Arbaaz Khan. She had said that, “Of course, I wanted my marriage to last forever. But it couldn’t happen. That doesn’t mean I’ve lost faith in love or that I’ve made a big mistake.”
Further elaborating, Malaika said that “People forget that it’s also important to give importance to yourself. I needed to be happy so that I could keep someone else happy. I wasn’t happy myself, and people said, ‘What a selfish decision.’ But I did what felt right to me. Today, I feel that this decision helped me become a better person.”
Malaika and Arbaaz first met during the shooting of a coffee commercial, where a deep friendship quickly developed between the two. They got married in 1998 and their son, Arhaan, was born in 2002. After being together for 18 years, the two separated in 2016 and were officially divorced in 2017.
