Known as the Harvard of Pakistan, the Lahore University of Management Sciences aka LUMS is famous for setting an unusual bar for Pakistanis.
Well, the ‘Harvard of Pakistan’ is making headlines yet again, and this time for celebrating ‘Bollywood Day’ at the campus.
On February 19, the LUMS celebrated ‘Bollywood Day’, where students dressed as ‘iconic’ characters from Bollywood movies. From Chul Panday, Devdas to Lagaan’s Aamir Khan and Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s Chota Pandit; the students’ videos went viral on social media.

Students who were spotted celebrating ‘Bollywood Day somehow became a meme fest on Twitter. Some opposed the idea of celebrating such festivals and few argued that students cannot study 24/7 at educational institutes; they need breaks as well. Let’s have a look at how social media users are reacting to it:
These kids only celebrated Bollywood Day, I loved the fun they had. What’s wrong in it? Let them live a few happy years of their lives before they are trapped in mundane situations of of practical life when in jobs. #LUMS pic.twitter.com/VkuomvlDnR

LUMS pic.twitter.com/V3ElzHyhPZ
