LAHORE: Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has received 28 dog bite cases during the last two weeks.
According to sources, as many as 28 people were injured due to dog bite incidents in different areas of Lahore. The incidents occurred in several areas including Qinchi Bazaar, Badian road and Bhatta Chowk.
Hospital sources citing the incidents said all the patients were given the anti-rabies protective vaccine in Lahore General Hospital. The injured were included 23 from Qinchi bazaar, three from Bedian road and two from Bhatta chowk.
Principal PGMI and LGH Prof Dr Alfred Zafar ordered MS Dr Mahmood Salahuddin and Director Emergency Dr Rana Mohammad Shafiq to immediately provide treatment to the injured under their supervision.
