The victim Fasihuddin told MM News that at around 5pm on Monday evening, three men entered the house after climbing the walls and two others entered through the door holding hammers and iron rods.

The five men broke the main door and gate of the house as soon as they arrived. More than 15 other men entered and search the house for the keys. They threatened the women to leave the house as they have paid for it and the property belongs to them.

Later, Fasihuddin reported the incident to the media and police helpline. However, police did not arrive at the scene until an hour later. Twelve men managed to escape while three others were arrested by the police and a case has been registered.

Fasihuddin said the suspects insulted the women and kept threatened them. He said his uncle who lives in Italy sold his share of the house thirty years ago, half of which is occupied by his relatives.

He said the land mafia has also attacked their portion of the house and tried to take over and also want their relatives to leave the other section as well. He said the police registered an FIR but a weak case has been lodged to benefit the suspect.

He said the women are still scared after the incident. He appealed to Inspector General Punjab to take action against the accused and provide protection against the land mafia.
