LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Lahore) has announced a groundbreaking shift towards digitalization with the introduction of a digital result card system for matriculation and intermediate examinations.
This initiative marks a significant step in modernizing educational documentation and streamlining processes for students and institutions alike.
MM News has learnt that the issuance of digital result cards will commence with the 2026 annual examination results, ensuring that students from both regular and private categories benefit from this innovation.
Accessibility for All Candidates
– Regular candidates will access their digital result cards through the online portals of their respective institutions.
– Private candidates can download their result cards directly from the Lahore Board’s official online portal.
All digital result cards will be provided in PDF format, ensuring ease of access and sharing.
The digital result cards will incorporate advanced security features, including a QR code, to prevent tampering and ensure authenticity.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Iskander Hayat emphasized that these digital cards will hold the same legal status as traditional result cards. They will be widely accepted for:
– Admissions to educational institutions
– Employment verification
– Scholarship applications
– Result verification and equivalency processes
To ensure a smooth transition, the Education Minister has directed all educational institutions to:
- Print digital result cards on 100-gram colored paper for physical distribution to students.
- Accept digital result cards for all official and educational purposes without any objections.
