LAHORE: The Sessions Court in Lahore has scheduled August 18 as the date for the indictment of five accused, including prominent YouTuber Rajab Butt, in a case filed by Ayesha Jatt.
The hearing, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Zafaryab, marked a critical juncture in the ongoing legal proceedings.
During the session, the prosecution presented its case, alleging that the police investigation into the accused, as outlined in the challan, was inadequate.
The prosecution urged the court to scrutinize the matter in accordance with the law and proceed with the trial. After reviewing the arguments and case records, the court issued summons for all five accused, including Rajab Butt, to appear for indictment on August 18.
This development follows a series of legal challenges for Rajab Butt, who has been embroiled in multiple cases in Lahore. The upcoming indictment hearing is expected to bring further clarity to the allegations and the evidence presented by both sides.
