LAHORE: Senior PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has made it clear that assemblies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be dissolved together.

Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, he said as per constitution’s article 109, CM Punjab wasn’t needed to seek vote of confidence since the assembly was already in session and a ruling in this regard was already given by the Speaker. When the no-trust move is foiled, he said, the assemblies would be dissolved.

Fawad Chaudhry said the PDM-led coalition government traveled very fast from the narrative of ‘respect vote’ to reaching the point of ‘escape from elections’. He said the entire PDM practice these days stood for one sole purpose, that is to run away from elections.

Fawad Chaudhry advised Governor Punjab Baleeghur Rahman not to resort to any misadventure, predicting that the no-trust move by the opposition would fail.
