ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the National Security Committee (NSC) today to discuss the deteriorating situation of occupied Kashmir.
According to the sources, the nation’s military leadership will also attend the meeting in Islamabad to discuss the alarming situation of Kashmir.
The meeting will be briefed about the measures taken Pakistan to deal with the Indian move about revoking Kashmir’s special status.
The sources further added that the upcoming federal meeting would be held on 9th August.
Earlier on 4th August, Prime Minister summoned the meeting to discuss the Indian army’s use of cluster ammunition to target the civilian population in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The last meeting was attended by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and senior military officials.
