Kartarpur corridor is ideal example of interfaith peace: CM Punjab

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the ideal example of inter-faith peace was the Kartarpur corridor.

During a meeting with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, the chief minister said that the completion of the Kartarpur corridor promoted peaceful co-existence of people from all over the world.

Usman Buzdar praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for the completion of the Kartarpur corridor.

Buzdar said that the prime minister has delivered a message of peace and tolerance to the world.

Moreover, both ministers discussed the current situation of the country, the promotion of religious peace and mutual interest.

Earlier on 9th November, Imran Khan inaugurated the Kartarpur Corridor in Narowal district of Pakistan.

Addressing the colorful ceremony, he welcomed the Sikh community and congratulated them on the 550^th anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
