The Karachi Zoo proudly inaugurated its first international-style fish aquarium, which boasts a diverse collection of rare fish species from 25 countries, delighting visitors with a kaleidoscope of colors and sizes.
Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, spoke at the opening ceremony, expressing his enthusiasm for the revival of this long-closed aquarium. He pledged to take proactive measures to enhance Karachi’s entertainment destinations, emphasizing the Pakistan Peoples Party’s commitment to the city’s betterment, with plans to transform all entertainment venues in Karachi into international-style attractions.
Iqbal Nawaz, the senior director of Karachi Municipal Corporation, revealed that the aquarium features rare fish from various parts of the world, including South America, Bolivia, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Mexico, South Asia, and Indonesia. The admission ticket to the aquarium is priced at Rs. 50.
Visitors to the aquarium are treated to a visual feast of fish from across the globe, each with its unique colors and sizes. The introduction of this international-style fish aquarium has already drawn a large number of people to the zoo, eager to marvel at the extraordinary aquatic life it offers.
