The Karachi Traffic Police have announced a detailed traffic plan for the 12 Rabi ul Awal processions taking place tomorrow (Saturday) across the city. Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) is observed with devotion nationwide, and Karachi will host several religious processions and gatherings.

According to a police spokesperson, senior officers (SSPs) will oversee the processions in their respective districts. Two major processions will begin from Memon Masjid in the afternoon. The first will depart at 2:30 PM towards Aram Bagh Masjid, while the central procession, led by Maulana Shah Abdul Haq Qadri, will start at 3:00 PM and conclude at Nishtar Park.

To ensure safety, MA Jinnah Road will remain closed to general traffic, except for vehicles with official procession stickers.

In District Central, traffic from Nazimabad can take Lasbela Chowk via Nishtar Road, while those from Liaquatabad may proceed through Teen Hatti and head towards Central Jail. From Hassan Square to PPP Chowrangi, alternate routes include Kashmir Road, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, and Jail Flyover.

In District East, vehicles coming from Shahrah-e-Faisal should use Shahrah-e-Quaideen, while those on Jamshed Road can divert via Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.

For District South, traffic will be diverted near MA Jinnah Road, Garden, Empress Market, and Burns Road through nearby streets and chowrangis.

Heavy and commercial vehicles will be banned citywide on the day. Citizens are advised to follow the alternate routes and plan ahead to avoid delays and disruptions.
