All offices operating under the administrative control of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation will remain closed on the day.

However, institutions and departments providing essential and emergency services will continue to function as usual to ensure that citizens do not face any disruption in the availability of basic services.

KMC officials said the decision to declare a local holiday has been formally approved by the competent authority.

All relevant departments and divisions have been informed to ensure effective implementation of the notification and smooth observance of the holiday across the city’s municipal administration.
