Famous Indian actor Kamal Haasan has been hospitalized at a private hospital in Chennai after being tested positive for coronavirus.
The Indian 2 actor had a slight cough after returning from his US trip, however, the COVID-19 infection was confirmed after the test and he was immediately admitted to a hospital for further treatment.
Famous for his character in ‘Chachi 420’, the actor turned to Twitter and shared the new in Tamil which translates to: “There was a slight cough after returning from the US trip. Govt infection was confirmed on examination. I am isolated in the hospital. Realize that the epidemic is not over yet and everyone is safe.”

Haasan requested everyone to be careful and take care as the spread of the deadly virus has not stopped yet. Earlier on 15th November, he was in Chicago for the launch of his new clothing line.

On the work front, the actor is hosting Bigg Boss Tamil 5. Moreover, Haasan recently wrapped up the last schedule of movie ‘Vikram’. The much-awaited action-thriller, Vikram also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.
