K-Electric has announced a maintenance shutdown schedule for August 11, 2026, under which electricity supply to several areas of Karachi will remain temporarily suspended at different times during the day.
The planned outages are part of routine maintenance activities aimed at carrying out necessary work on the power distribution network.
According to the schedule, several feeders across different parts of the city will undergo maintenance-related shutdowns, with the duration of the interruption varying from feeder to feeder. Most of the affected areas have been scheduled for outages between the morning and 6:00pm, while a few feeders have different shutdown timings.
The 51-C Area, A.D.B.P, Amroha Society, Baraf Khana, Bose, Ghaus Pak Road RMU, Gulshan-e-Ghazali, Johar Square and Secretary Govt CHS feeders are scheduled to remain affected from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Meanwhile, electricity supply to Ana Crown is scheduled to be suspended from 7:00am to 6:00pm, making it one of the earliest and longest planned interruptions on the schedule. The Darakshan-4, Ghosia Road, Juma Khan, Kolson Foods, P-23 Qaim Khani RMU, Pak Capital-III, Staff Hostel, State Life Building-11 and Zulfiqar Commercial-01 feeders are scheduled for maintenance shutdowns from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

A comparatively shorter shutdown has been scheduled for the CBM Plastic feeder, where electricity supply is expected to remain suspended from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The UBL Sports feeder has been given a shutdown window from 9:00am to 6:30pm, making it the feeder with the latest scheduled restoration time in the announced schedule.
The maintenance activity is expected to temporarily affect residential, commercial and other consumers located within the service areas of the listed feeders. Consumers in the affected localities are advised to plan their routine activities accordingly and take necessary precautions for electrical appliances during the scheduled outage period.
The maintenance shutdowns are part of efforts to inspect, repair and maintain the electricity distribution infrastructure. Power restoration may depend on the completion of the scheduled work and could therefore vary from the stated timings.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to remain prepared for temporary power interruptions and to follow K-Electric’s latest updates regarding the maintenance work and restoration of electricity supply.
