K-Electric has announced a scheduled power outage across various areas of Karachi on August 9, 2026, due to maintenance work.
According to the schedule, electricity supply will remain suspended for several hours on multiple feeders.
According to the schedule issued by K-Electric, power supply to the Amber Cinema, Rehmania Garden, and Raza Residency feeders will remain suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Meanwhile, several feeders, including Army Proof Range, Dada Ceramic, Jhelum Textile, and PV-26 RMU, will experience outages from 9:59 a.m. to 5:59 p.m.
Similarly, the Murshid Hospital feeder is scheduled to remain without power from 7:01 a.m. to 5:51 p.m., the Naushaba Naeem feeder from 7:59 a.m. to 7:59 p.m., and the Jatli Rice feeder from 8:59 a.m. to 10:19 p.m.
The SGS Karsaz feeder will remain without electricity from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Star Textile from 9:59 a.m. to 7:59 p.m., while the Terry World and Way Water feeders will experience outages from 8:59 a.m. to 5:29 p.m.
Other affected feeders include Associated Glass, Balochistan Foundry, Bin Qasim Packages, CCI Industries, Crystal Ice, Gandhara Nissan, Green Street, Odeon Centre, Pakistan Leaf, Palace Theatre, Peraak, Saba Cinema, and Security Printing-I.
K-Electric said the outages have been scheduled to facilitate maintenance work on the affected feeders. Citizens have been advised to plan their activities accordingly and take the scheduled power interruptions into account.
